OUR PARTNERS Since 1973, CIOFF membership enabled to meet various tradition and folk culture agents in the world. Jean Roche, artistic and managing director, is permanent CIOFF representative to the UNESCO and representative of the CIOFF for Europ and Africa.
The UNESCO programme : " Human Living Treasures" :
Since early 1999, the association develops a programme of protection and promotion of the human heritage in the Bocage Bourbonnais (108 villages - 98000 inhabitants). This programme realized in collaboration with another European countries (Spain, Italy, Portugal) enabled the asociation to make an ethnograhic collection, so as to spot the traditional know-hows of the Bocage Bourbonnais. So, the association worked in collaboration with ethnologists, anthropoligists, journalists for the Bocage Bourbonnais zone.
Institutional networks
For its festival, the NACT works at national level in close link with ministry of Education, ministry of Research (parent ministry) and also with ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culture.
At international level, it has regular contacts with Embassies, Consulates and governements of the different countries invited to the festival.
In Auvergne, the Regional Council of Auvergne, the Council of Allier department and the town of Gannat are important partners of the NACT regarding the festival financing and support for its organizers. Throughout the year, the association gets involved in different actions under several networks of folk education, tourism, culture, agriculture, local developement and social economy.
